KINOMATON Berlin Completes Corporate Film

KINOMATON Berlin completes production on a corporate film for the EU research project CHINOS conducted by ISL Bremerhaven. CHINOS teams 13 industrial partners from across Europe. Shooting took place in Bremerhaven and Warsaw.

Munich director Christian Bach's Behind the Dunes starts shooting on June 10, 2008. The production will wrap at the beginning of July and be realized entirely on the German island of Borkum in the North Sea.

KINOMATON BERLIN Executive Producer for ARTE Documentary in Berlin

KINOMATON BERLIN served as Executive Producer for the Berlin shoot of B...COMME BABYLONE, directed by George Bernard. The documentary is produced by Les Films du Tambour de Soie in co-production with the Musée du Louvre and will be broadcast on ARTE (6. April, 10:25 pm). Shooting locations in Berlin included the Pergamon Museum and the Berlin State Library.

POETRY HEARINGS 2007, the third edition of Berlin's festival of English Language Poetry, will take place at KINOMATON BERLIN offices from Nov 16 - 18. POETRY HEARINGS presents English language poets from across Europe and North America. Cutting across poetic divisions, the festival brings together writers working in diverse traditions: the mainstream, the experimental, the formal, the free-ranging, performance and prose poetry. The festival aims to give them a hearing.
